Would this make more sense ?
If I looked at the world upside down
Maybe I could stay within the lines.
But I don’t fit into the box as my
Corners are not square. And what
Would happen ? I dropped my pen
Cause upside down I cannot see..
Right is wrong and Wrong is Right
Left is up and down has Left. And
Here I set up on my head..
Opens my eyes and looks around
And for the first time I see everything
So clearly now . It is not my fault, why
Did I take so long to behold?
To my surprise your just like
Me. You punish yourself , yet
Your not to blame for all of the
Sadness and pain. But the choices
We made were damned from the
Start. We judge ourselves Unworthy.
Dealing our own Punishments
in life by the Paths that we trod. Two
Walkways parallel, each traveling
In the same direction. Both Taking
us from birth to death.
One is the path to Joy and Happiness
With no guilt or pain. The other, The one
One we choose full of heartache and
Regret, that is the one we feel we must
Put our steps.. Believing ourselves
Unworthy to try the other path instead..
Punishing ourselves for our Father’s
Sin's and probably his before..
So see we are not to blame, it is not our
Guilt you and I . Hold your head up and
Go forward. I hold my hand out to you.
Come take a step up, climb onto the path
With me. Lets show the world how happy
And free we can be . Let the burdens of the
Past fall to the path below. For we stumble
No longer in the darkness of long ago…….
For you see I am worthy of walk on the
chosen path of Life.....
